Solutions: SOA Delivery

SOA is at the core of Everware-CBDI's solutions delivery approach. Utilizing the best practices and methodology developed by the CBDI Forum, we structure our solutions based on a twin track approach which separates development team concerns into solution design and assembly versus services provisioning and component implementation. This approach allows the solution design and assembly team to focus on defining a business process based solution, which uses software services. The services provisioning team builds services in accordance with the software services specifications, which are jointly determined by the solution design and assembly team. This rich service specification allows for the rapid iterative approach in creating solutions that consume pre-built and provisioned services.

An integral part of our success delivering service-oriented applications has been our use of prebuilt service-based software components. In many cases, these service-based components can be directly "consumed" by application solutions. In others, they are extended by the services provisioning team to perform additional business services.

In addition to using our pre-built services library as a "quick-start" foundation for the creation of service-oriented solutions, Everware-CBDI has developed methods and supporting technology to define and build services in days rather than weeks. Using a XML specification based approach our provisioning teams can quickly deploy custom-built services, which are consumed by service-based application solutions.

By using a Service Oriented Architecture delivery approach, Everware-CBDI is able to deliver business oriented application solutions with greater speed and flexibility. The service oriented solutions we produce result in lower lifecycle costs to our customers and increased ROI.
