Job Description:

Everware-CBDI is seeking a mid level JAVA Developer to work on various projects supporting our clients located in the Northern Virginia area.  The ideal candidate will participate on a team as a technical expert in design, development and debugging of new and existing software.  The candidate will work with application modelers and analysts to translate specifications to standards-based code.  The ideal candidate will also need to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices as well as interacting with team and customer personnel in own area of expertise.

Job Requirements:

  • 4-7 years experience with the following Web Logic, Application Server, Oracle Database, Spring MVC & Hibernate frameworks, JSP AJAX
  • Experience in a consulting environment
  • Experience on US government projects
  • Modeling experience with UML is a plus
  • Some travel may be required 0-25%

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree desired but not required; experience could be substituted for education

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • This position requires an active high-level security clearance
