Job Description:

Everware-CBDI is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our team in providing strategic consulting services for our key clients in the Northern Virginia area.  If you are looking to make a difference, then look no further.  The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Enterprise Architecture, MDA or SOA.

This position also requires an understanding of and proven experience with different Enterprise Architect (EA) frameworks, such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), Department of Defense (DODAF) and Service or Component Architectures.

Education Requirements:

  • BA/ BS required, with 8-10 years of progressive IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in Enterprise Architect;
  • MBA/MS desired in CS or related field; at least eight (5) years progressive IT experience with a minimum of four (2) years in Enterprise Architecture or Information Technology management; experience with EA modeling and structured analysis procedures and tools; excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills required.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team.
  • Must have strong presentation development and delivery skills. Proficiency in modeling environments such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), and at least one EA modeling tool (Metis Framework, Popkin System Architect, etc.) is also required. 
  • Experience with Federal Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC) process is desired. 
  • Prefer multi-agency federal government experience.
